Bray Rowing Club
Bray Rowing Club is situated on the seafront in Bray and training begins in march each year in preperation for the summer regattas.

Crews are comprised of a coxed four. Each rower commands a single timber oar which varies from 15-161/2 foot in lenght.

Today BRC is one of the prevailing clubs on the east coast. despite a period of dormacy in the middle of the 20th century, the club was resurrected by a small group of men in 1971 and has been pulling hard ever since.

Celtic Challenge 2012

Bray Rowing Club is rowing the Irish sea on the 4th May from Arklow to Aberystwyth in wales. This bi-annual race known as the Celtic Challenge is a sheer test of endurance in which participants from Wales and Ireland take to the seas. The race generally takes between 15 to 24hrs, depending on the weather.
We are holding the following fundraisers to raise monney need for the club:

Thursday 15th March, Table Quiz in Brady's of Shankill @ 8.30pm

Easter Sunday 8th April, ROWATHON on Bray promenade from 10am to 6pm
